Nirvana’s Milestone

Nirvana’s Nevermind album will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary on September 24th.

Nevermind radically altered the course of rock music when it was released in the fall of 1991. Those who felt the emotional thrust of the record when it was new now look back in awe at how quickly a decade can pass and how young we really were.<Br><Br>

Issue 11 explains the controversy surrounding the Nirvana Box Set which would have been released this month if Courtney Love hadn’t stolen the rights to the songs contained within it.



Stewart Smith

Smith founded Tweed in 1997 (at the age of 15) and continues to be the resident curmudgeon. In addition to running the organization he is responsible for Tweed's design and Web presence. A graphic designer by trade, he is currently studying for his MFA at Yale University.
